Receiving Inspector 

Employer: WestJet  

Role: Your main duty will be to ensure the timely, accurate certification of incoming consumables and parts or components that can be repaired, overhauled and used again in WestJet operations. This work plays a key role in maintaining airworthiness and inventory integrity by ensuring all parts meet company and regulatory standards before being released to stock. You'll also inspect re-calibrated tools, among other responsibilities. 

Key requirements: At least three years of experience in an aircraft stores/parts environment, at least two years of experience working with computerized maintenance tracking systems and strong awareness of Canadian aviation regulations are some of the requisites.

Deicing Operations Shift Manager 

Employer: Greater Toronto Airports Authority 

Role: This key leadership role is the primary point of contact during active operations and maintains real-time situational awareness, manages shifting priorities and ensures seamless coordination with the internal teams, air carriers and service providers involved in the delivery of aircraft deicing services at Toronto Pearson's Central Deicing Facility. 

Key requirements: These include at least five years of experience in an airport environment (or similar) serving a large, complex customer base with both union and non-unionized workers and a strong focus on data and metrics, including a solid knowledge of key performance indicators and service level agreements to achieve compliance.

Load Controller  

Employer: Menzies Aviation 

Role: As the tank farm supervisor, you'll be responsible for supervising an operating team that samples and tests jet fuel for quality control and performs inspections and maintenance on facilities and fuel systems. You'll also receive and dispatch jet fuel via pipelines, railcars and fuel trucks as well as be responsible for training, safety compliance and audit reviews, among other roles. 

Key requirements: The ability to work any shift, acknowledgment of load control and DCS systems and having good math skill are some of the key requirements.

Professional Senior Engineering Liaison 

Employer: Bombardier 

Role: This work includes resolving fit, form or function issues on aircraft components and repairs required during the manufacturing of aerospace products. You'll also solve reported problems with aircraft structure and systems and raise the necessary documentation to quickly and efficiently overcome problems. 

Key requirements: You have a bachelor or master's degree in mechanical/aerospace engineering (or a related field) and at least five years of material review board experience or seven years of aerospace design experience, among other requirements.

Exterior Aircraft Cleaner 

Employer: PrimeFlight Aviation Services Canada 

Role: Using specialized cleaning products and equipment to wash, wax and polish aircraft, this work involves the cleaning and upkeep of aircraft exteriors. You'll also conduct inspections for exterior surface damage and wear and report your findings to leadership, along with other tasks. 

Key requirements: You're able to work nights, weekends and holidays, use electronic devices such as tablets and computers and you can read, write, speak and understand English, among other necessities.

Excello Operator 

Employer: Cyclone Manufacturing 

Role: For this provider of three to five-axis machining, sheet metal fabrication, tube bending, welding and minor sub-assemblies of aerospace structural components, you'll operate and monitor Excello machinery for production runs, perform routine maintenance, troubleshoot machine issues and ensure products meet quality specifications, among other duties.  

Key requirements: These include at least two years of experience as an Excello (manual) machine operator (or similar role), the ability to properly use measurements tools like high gauges and bore gauges, having solid knowledge of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing and paying strong attention to detail.

Technical Support Supervisor, Facilities Maintenance Response 

Employer: Greater Toronto Airports Authority 

Role: You'll oversee and coordinate the daily activities of licensed skilled trades and maintenance staff, ensuring safe, high-quality execution of preventative and corrective work across airport systems and facilities. You'll also provide hands-on technical guidance, manage work orders through Maximo, support asset lifecycle planning and lead emergency response efforts, among other responsibilities.  

Key requirements: These include a plumber, sprinkler and fire protection installer, carpenter, electrician or millwright certificate of qualification, at least five years of experience in a licensed, skilled trade and three to five years of supervisory experience in a maintenance or facilities environment.
