Utility Associate

Employer: HMSHost

Role: This fulltime position at the Twist by Roger Mooking restaurant involves cleaning equipment, floors, work stations and pots and pans, checking (and replenishing) ice levels, keg beers, bib sodas and Co2 containers and loading and unloading supply trucks, among other duties.

Key Requirements: These include the ability to bend, twist, stand to perform job functions, being able to lift and move up to 40 pounds and frequently immersing one's hands in water and water diluted with chemical solutions.

Airport Planning Analyst

Employer: Greater Toronto Airports Authority

Role: You'll produce analytical reports for terminal, airside and/or groundside systems, identify related capacity development options, and implement and maintain simulation models for present and future demand profiles. This will require collaborating with other departments to ensure operational requirements are considered in simulation and planning projects.

Key Requirements: These include at least five years of experience in aviation and/or airport planning/capacity planning and experience analyzing and interpretating large data.

Engineer (Engineering Career Accelerated Program)

Employer: Bombardier

Role: This rotational program will allow you, a new graduate and permanent employee, to discover engineering in one of four streams: project, electrical, systems and structural engineering. You'll be coached by experienced engineers, supported by a mentor and guided by our business leaders.

Key Requirements: These include a bachelor's or master's degree in engineering (aerospace, mechanical, electrical, avionics, computer science or related) completed in 2024, or to be completed by May 2026 and less than two years of post-graduate work experience.

Wildlife Control Officer

Employer: Falcon Environmental Inc.

Role: Tasks include learning and developing wildlife abatement and dispersal methods, including discharging pyrotechnics, deploying falconry birds and trapping activities, as well as identifying wildlife and collecting data on wildlife and abatement interventions.

Key Requirements: A degree in a wildlife-related subject, at least two to three years of experience in the wildlife field (or relevant work experience) and the ability to work shifts, holidays, weekends and on call are some of the requirements.

Mover – Driver/Swamper

Employer: Two Small Men with Big Hearts Moving

Role: As a driver for this local and long-haul moving company, you’ll pack boxes, disassemble items and wrap furniture when needed. You’ll also load and unload the moving truck and abide by transportation laws and codes.

Key Requirements: These include a clean driver’s abstract and the ability to lift 70 pounds or more on a regular basis throughout the day.
