“My name is Romyrr and I am a Supervisor, Operations Service Representative and Facilities Service Agent, Airport Operations with Dexterra.”

“In my role, I help supervise the flow of passengers through various queues, both before and after security, and ensure they meet the requirements for entering certain parts of the terminals, such as controlled and restricted areas. We’re also checking passengers’ travel documentation to make sure they have what they need for their journey, all while delivering a memorable experience and superior level of customer service.

It’s a fast-paced job and it keeps me busy. I love how many new people I get to meet in a day. It’s especially nice when I get to connect with them; it helps me deliver a more personalized level of service. Working in customer service can be challenging at times, but when I can make a positive impact on someone’s day whom I’ve never even met before, it feels good.


Whether it’s something small like a warm smile, a greeting or thanking me for a service they didn’t know about, it’s very rewarding for me and it’s a big reason why I love working at the airport. Anybody who enjoys helping others and interacting with people from all over the world would enjoy being a part of the team.”
